Mimosa

Prepare Mimosa devices for QUARK Config Backup.

This guide covers Mimosa point-to-point backhaul radios, specifically the B11.

Mimosa (B11)

Prepare the account. Mimosa radios do not support multiple local users; management access is protected by a single administrator password. Set a strong management password in the radio's web interface under the management or security preferences, and use it as the device credential in QUARK. Because there is no read-only role, treat this credential as a full-admin secret.

Enable management access. QUARK retrieves the B11 configuration through the radio's web management interface, so make sure web management is enabled and the radio's management IP is reachable from the Netwatch collector. The platform has no built-in management ACL, so restrict access to the collector at the firewall or by placing the radio on a dedicated management VLAN.

Platform notes.

  • Only the B11 is currently supported for automated configuration retrieval; other Mimosa models are not covered by this guide.
  • If the radio is managed through Mimosa's cloud, local web management must still be enabled for QUARK to reach it directly.

Enable backup in Netwatch

Once the device is prepared, open its host in Netwatch (Data collection > Hosts) and add the Config Backup macros — the supported status flag, the model code for this platform, and the credentials you created. See Getting started for the full macro list and values.
