OneAccess
Prepare OneAccess devices for QUARK Config Backup.
This guide covers OneAccess (Ekinops) routers running OneOS and TDRE devices.
OneOS
OneOS runs on OneAccess ONE-series branch routers, now sold by Ekinops.
Create a backup account. Create a dedicated local user — for example netwatch-backup — through the router CLI or your provisioning system. OneOS uses privilege levels similar to other carrier CPE platforms: displaying the full running configuration requires administrator-level privileges, so assign the highest privilege level or store the administrator (enable) password with the device entry in QUARK. QUARK only issues show and display commands.
Enable SSH. Enable the SSH server in the router's management configuration and verify logins from the Netwatch collector. Where your OneOS version supports management ACLs, restrict SSH to the collector's IP address; otherwise filter at the network edge.
Platform notes. Many OneOS routers are operator-managed CPE; if the device is locked by a service provider profile, coordinate with the provider to obtain an account permitted to display the configuration.
TDRE
Create a backup account. Create a dedicated management user in the device's management interface with rights to display the full configuration. The platform offers limited role separation, so an administrator-level account is typically required; QUARK performs read operations only.
Enable management access. Enable SSH in the management settings if your firmware supports it; otherwise use Telnet on an isolated management network. Restrict access to the Netwatch collector's IP address with an upstream firewall.
Platform notes. TDRE units are commonly deployed as managed demarcation devices; confirm with the managing operator that direct management access from your collector is permitted before scheduling backups.
Enable backup in Netwatch
Once the device is prepared, open its host in Netwatch (Data collection > Hosts) and add the Config Backup macros — the supported status flag, the model code for this platform, and the credentials you created. See Getting started for the full macro list and values.
